Wear this multi-textured vintage-inspired Breton hat to Harrogate’s favorite tea spot. Blocked in Raffia straw, and trimmed with denim ribbon, this is one of those hats that can go from casual to fancy instantly. She is trimmed with a single chrysanthemum Chirimen silk flower, so as not to take away from all the various textures. This Breton style is a childhood favorite of mine, reminding me of the yellow hat that Madeline wore in the children’s books. (I see a yellow hat in my future.) This hat does not have a crown, and opens up exposing your natural locks. When you look at the back, there is a surprise straw bow perfectly attached to the back. If you look at the side view, you will see that the top is slightly longer than the back, creating a wonderful silhouette.

This hat is mostly one size fits all. It is better suited for slightly smaller heads ranging from 21-22 inches. If you are unsure, please drop me a line, and we can discuss. Betty’s Tea House can also be made in other colors.
