“Destiny” is my sculptural tribute to the art of surprise, the stories we carry, and the beauty of handmade ritual.

Every fortune cookie twist is hand-cut, shaped, and sewn from leather, perched on a fully sculpted leather-covered crown. Adorned with metallic beads, brocade textures, and a wink at tradition—because fate should sparkle.

And while the fortune cookie may feel Chinese-American in spirit, its origin traces back to Japanese American bakers in early 20th-century California—a quiet reminder that even the symbols we think we know are full of unexpected history.
