Inspired by Tim Burton’s version of La Bohème with a Texas twist: the Texas Lone Star Lillies. Black and Red lilies handcrafted in silk sits atop a swirl of Jinsin and silk Albaca straw. The base is blocked using a woven multi-colored Buntal straw mat. This hat is a garden paradise with a touch of punk. I think it could compliment a steampunk ensemble as well as a little black dress. I also wouldn’t pass it up for a Summer wedding or event. It is that versatile. The base shape is a little bubbly beret. This hat is a one-size fits all, and is secured with a comb and elastic. It is light to wear, and the flowers are created to hold it’s position in even under slightly windy conditions.
